Chapter 5 · 5.2
The domain page: everything about one domain
Watch it in a short video
Every domain has its own page with all the information and settings. Open it by clicking the domain name or Admin in My Domains. Use Back to overview to return to the list.

At the top
Next to the domain name is a button to copy the name. On the right, you'll see the status, the expiry date and the Renews yearly switch (1). Below that is the renewal card (2): what renewal costs, when the domain expires, how long it remains valid after renewal and when the renewal invoice will arrive. You can read more about this in Renewal and auto-renewal.
Domain/Email health
This card checks in one go whether the basics of your domain are in order. The circle next to the title (3) shows the status: green is fine, orange needs attention and red is a problem. If something is red, the card expands automatically. You can read all about this card in Domain and email health: checking and fixing.
Further down the page
- Name servers: the name servers for your domain, with buttons to change them, manage the DNS records and register your own name server. See Edit nameservers and Managing DNS: adding, editing and deleting records.
- Linked products: the hosting package this domain is part of. Use the DirectAdmin button to log in directly to your package's control panel. You can read how to work there in the DirectAdmin manual.
- Domain contacts: the holder (registrant) of the domain. See Domain contacts and changing the owner.
- Advanced Features: the rarer settings, explained below.

| Item | What it's for | Read more |
|---|---|---|
| Transfer code (EPP) (1) | The code you need to move the domain to another provider. | Transferring a domain away: transfer code (EPP) and transfer lock |
| DNSSEC (2) | Extra protection against falsified DNS responses. Use Admin to go to the DNSSEC settings. | DNSSEC and DANE |
| Transfer lock | Blocks a transfer that you haven't requested. | Transferring a domain away: transfer code (EPP) and transfer lock |
| WHOIS privacy | Hides your contact details from the public WHOIS. | WHOIS privacy |
| Cancel domain (3) | Stop renewing the domain. | Cancelling or transferring a domain |
| Transfer to another customer | Move the domain to another WebOké account. | Cancelling or transferring a domain |
Not every extension supports every feature. If something isn't available for your domain, you'll see this in a grey label, for example .nl does not support this or not available for this extension.
Tip: has your domain just been ordered and is the registration or transfer still in progress? Then you'll only be able to change most settings once the domain is active.
